I shall do what little I could

This is my small contribution to the English blog world. A Chinese proverb says that 'It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness.'  We all agree. We don’t have candles but still want to be lightened. I have an earthen lamp in hand. A simple earthen lamp. I found it accidently when I was browsing some books at a second hand book shop.  The lamp has been kept in this poem.
''Who will take up my work?''
Said the setting sun.
Earth kept silent like a picture.
But there was an earthen lamp
That said
"My lord I shall do what little I could".

I believe this was written by Thagore. I owe whoever the poet very much for giving me the name for this blog.
